We welcome any parent who would like to be on the parent board and help oversee the club's activities. Current board members are: Tom and Beth Kane, Andrea Murphy, Pat Malloy, Mike and Karla Abellera, Sheryl Minnec, Katie Simoneit and Sue Buse'. The board meets aprroximately 4 times a year. Lacrosse is the fastest growing team sport in the United States. In 2008, the Girls Lacrosse Club was founded at Glenbard West and joined 36 other schools in the Chicagoland area participating in the IHSA emerging sport.  Glenbard West Girls Lacrosse fielded two teams in Spring 2008 and 2009 and posted winning seasons each year.  

Girls Lacrosse is a club sport at Glenbard West. It is a spring, no-cut sport open to all interested girls. The team is funded by player/parent fees. Girls Lacrosse is under the direction of the Girls Lacrosse Parent Board in conjunction with the Glenbard West Athletic Department.
